Tales of olde Fear god Saoolach

About Me

Heya, my name is Gij! My website is still a wip and rn I think it lacks a back button? idk man lmao I'm bad with coding. My main thing is that I make art and work in games. My work can be found in places like Leechbug , Dream catcher , MonsDRAWsity and many more but I wanted to make Autumn Omen to launch a few of my own ideas. I also wanted to make my own webpage because as handy as big social media can be, it's becoming seemingly less and less efficient or at the very least, less friendly to artists. That being said, I also want to note that my art is 100% human-made BY ME and I don't condone any ai slop touching my work, now or ever. Anyways, don't forget to pet the dogs!

I DO NOT CARE HOW GOOD THIS SITE LOOKS ON A PHONE RAHHHHHHHH

Development on this webpage is going slow as I've mostly been focusing on creating my newest game, Alos. It's taking a pretty long time because I'm the only person on the team and the amount of art I want in the project is...ALOT lol. I know this webpage won't be frequented all that often but that kinda brings me a lil comfort in sharing such a personal project. My elevator pitch for the game currently goes like this "Pen, pencil, dice and real human made art for real human players, just as the gods intended. Stop me if you've heard this one; A peasant, a knight, a demon and a glass blower fight a god killing darkness that's trapped the universe in an endless cycle of it's own death throes. No? Let be back up for a second. Good and evil are equal in the eyes of the end, how will you make your final days matter? Enter the doomed setting of Alos ttrpg, a world where every bad turn has been taken and past mistakes threaten to blot out the future. Can the world be saved? Embark on a downbeat dark fantasy adventure in the gritty lore rich world of Alos. It's simplified mechanics are meant to be welcoming to new players, while it's classless system offers endless, if not slightly eccentric character building potential."

CURRENTLY I'd say the book is about a third of the way done :'D

Being a one man band is difficult and moreso when life throws tragedy after tragedy at you. I've been faced with so much loss last month that it's been difficult to work. My mother now has breast cancer and I lost my grandmother and aunt on the same day. Due to finances I feel bad that I was not able to attend the funeral but it's likely for the best that I wasn't around my other family members as they saw my grandmother's death as an opportunity to pick the bones of a woman who gave them everything and more while she was still alive. My project Alos was born from misery as a way to help me cope from life's darker corners, I know that this will eventually become fuel for the project to soar once again.
